Craps has become one of the most popular casino games in recent years. The in-depth betting system along with the fast paced speed of play makes it one of the most interesting games at the casino. I’m going to go over the bets that you need to know to get started. This is what you should do when you step up to a craps table:
The best bet to place for the “come out roll” is a pass line bet. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 you win if you are on the pass line. Any other roll other than a 2, 3, or 12 will establish the point. This is when you can place bets on individual numbers if you would like, which is called a come bet.
There is also the multi-roll bet which can also be quite lucrative. This is a bet that banks on the shooter rolling a 4, 6, 8, or 10 using identical pairs; before the shooter rolls a 7, of course. This is the hard way. The easy way is betting on a 4, 6, 8, or 10 without identical pairs.
There are so many different bets, it is best to know all of your options. But rest assured there are going to be at least four casino workers at every table. The boxman is guarding chips and making exchanges. The two base dealers collect and pay bets. The stickman announces the outcome of every roll and collects the dice while telling the base4 dealer who to pay.
