Just last month Ira Rubin, a prominent online gambling accomplice for the three major sites involved in the scheme pleaded guilty to a number of counts. The US Government still does not regulate and tax online gambling, and this is just one example of why it is necessary. The online gambling industry is perhaps the only industry in the country actually vying for the Government to get involved.

The poker industry may be in a little bit or turmoil recently, but that leaves other aspect of the casino to flourish. Craps, roulette and free slots have been very popular lately, as well as blackjack. Just be sure you are playing at a casino you trust.

The “cash-strapped” US government could use any extra income they could get their hands on, right? According to an article I read in The Washington Post, the District has made plenty of attempts to get online wagering regulated, but it just hasn’t happened yet. The first roll of the game is the comeout roll. The comeout roll will determine a couple of things for the rest of the game.

The shooter wins automatically if they roll a 7 or 11.

The shooter loses automatically if they roll a 2, 3, or 12.

The point number is determined if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. The shooter will continue to roll the dice until the point number is rolled again or a 7 is rolled. If the point number is rolled first then the shooter will keep rolling until a 7 is rolled.

Your job, if you’re not the shooter, is to place bets on all of these rolls. If you are the shooter you will be placing your bets on the pass line.

To help me win I like to keep a few things in mind. I always consistently up my wager while keeping the odds in my favor. I do this by using the pass line bet a lot. This bet carries a house edge of 1.4%, which is pretty great compared to other casino games.

When it comes down to it craps is all about math, brushing up on simple math and probability will help you out greatly with this game.

No matter what level of craps player you are, you know what a Pass Line bet is because it is the first bet you are taught. It is made at the beginning of play for the comeout roll. If a 7 or an 11 is rolled then you win, if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled, you lose. Anything else it is just a null play.

The Come bet is identical to the Pass line bet, it can just be placed at any point in play.

For a field bet: rolling a 2 pays double, and a 12 pays triple. Rolling numbers 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11 is a null roll, and any other number rolled you loses.

Place bets are placed after the point number is established when the player believes the point number will be rolled before a 7 will be rolled.

A buy bet is just like the place bet except different payouts. When a player buys a point they pay 5% commission and are paid out true odds in the bet wins. Although it is a better bet on a 4 or 10, it is worse on every other number.
